The hotel offered spacious and very comfortable rooms, although a bit noisy. The service was excellent and the location superb for exploring Conwy, but the noise level was a downside. The dining experience was relaxed, but some portions were small. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor inconveniences.
I stayed at this hotel with mixed feelings. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but they didn't meet the deluxe description and the price seemed high. On the bright side, the wide stairwells added a touch of luxury to the experience.
The hotel's rooms were fantastic, very stylish, and decorated to a great standard. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and polite. Big thank you to the chef for the outstanding food. However, the ensuite bathroom had some unexpected issues with cobwebs on the old original top bathroom window and a little mold on the blind. The location of the room above the outdoor bar made it a bit noisy during good weather, but it was still understandable as it's a popular spot.
The hotel is situated directly on the town's Main Street, just a 5-minute walk from Conwy Castle. Being located on the 2nd floor away from the noise of the street was a plus. The service was top-notch, with the staff being so friendly that I didn't even realize they allowed dogs, which is fabulous. The location was superb, perfect for exploring the town, castle, and surrounding areas. However, the small lounge area was a downside. The dining experience had its ups and downs, as breakfast lacked fresh fruit, yet dinner was amazing. Ultimately, the hotel offers character in a fantastic location for discovering North Wales, especially on bank holidays.
The hotel had a lovely decor, clean rooms, but fell short of the deluxe title and the expected value for money at the tariff of £179 per night. Despite the disappointment compared to the website's promises, the stay was pleasant overall.
